Your clients already love NYU. Now let's help more people find you.
Sanyu, you've built something special: a niche few salons nearby offer, a story people trust and a perfect 5.0 on Google from 17 reviews (30/10/2026). This page starts with what's already working, then shows small, free changes that help more people find you and book. 🤎
Before any changes, here is what you've built. Every point below was checked between 30/10/2026 and 01/11/2026 against your website, Acuity, Google, Instagram or another public page.
Your business
A story people trust
With regular treatments and home care, I really don't need to wear foundation anymore.
Your About page shares your own journey with hyperpigmentation caused by PCOS, with a year of your own skin photos.
Why it mattersClients trust someone who has lived what they are living. It is one of the strongest kinds of proof a small studio can have.
A niche few salons nearby offer
Herbal peels and Korean cosmeceuticals, backed by a deep understanding of melanin-rich skin.
When we asked Perplexity, an AI search tool, for a Korean herbal peel near Beckton (31/10/2026), it said it couldn't verify a clinic near Beckton offering a Korean herbal peel. You offer exactly that.
Why it mattersA clear specialism gives people a reason to travel to you, and makes you easy for Google and AI tools to describe.
A perfect 5.0 on Google
5.0
From 17 Google reviews (30/10/2026). Reviewers mention customised facials, microneedling, acne treatment and clear skin.
Why it mattersA 5.0 average from 17 reviews means every one so far is five stars. Google says the number of reviews helps decide who shows in Maps, so each new one helps.

Secure everywhere: every version of your address leads to one main https address.
Nothing blocks Google. Your robots file (the instructions search engines read first) only hides Squarespace's system areas.

Every one is free, and most take minutes. Each helps the people who already want to book you, or helps Google send you new ones.
Start here
1
Send "Book now" straight to your herbal peel
5 min
Your homepage already invites people to book the NYU Correct peel. Point the button at that peel's booking list: today it asks Acuity for a "NYU SKIN MOT" category that isn't there, so people land on the full list instead.
2
Show the same prices as Acuity
20 min
You already show your prices, which clients love. Two just need a refresh: NYU Lift says "from £85" but books at £150, and the £55 lash lift can't be booked in Acuity yet. NYU Renew's "from £85" is the per-session price of the £255 course of three, so simply say so.
3
Choose one set of details and use it everywhere
30 min
When every listing agrees, Google and AI tools are more likely to recommend you with confidence. Right now five sets of opening hours (your website, Google, Apple Maps, Treatwell and Fresha, and the hours picture in Acuity) and seven spellings of the name are live, so picking one makes a real difference.
4
Grow your Google profile and your reviews
1 to 2 hours
Your 5.0 rating is a wonderful start. Add your phone, services with prices and photos, set the hours you chose in step 3, then send each client one WhatsApp asking for a review. Clinics in Google's map results for local searches had 28 to about 1,500 reviews on 30/10/2026, so every new one moves you closer.
5
Make sure every sign-up reaches you
15 min
Black Friday sign-ups are precious. The homepage form's code still carries Squarespace's "needs a storage option" note. It may be harmless, and one test sign-up with your own email settles it. If it doesn't arrive, choose Squarespace in the form's Storage tab (free on every plan); a MailerLite Free form can replace it later.
Before Black Friday (27/11)
6
Refresh the returns policy and add a cookie banner
1 hour
Black Friday shoppers check returns before they buy. UK rules give online shoppers a refund if they cancel within 14 days, so "store credit only" needs a refresh for shop orders. The UK privacy regulator (the ICO) also expects a cookie banner that asks before the Meta (Facebook) tracking code runs.
7
Finish the Black Friday details
15 min
Your £99 peel and £270 course of three are already live in Acuity. Just add the number of places, the gift and the last date to use sessions.
Then, over the next month
8
Bring your real web address into Bing
30 min
Bing's results feed Microsoft Copilot's answers. On 31/10/2026 Bing still showed Squarespace's built-in address instead of yours, and a free Bing Webmaster Tools account is the way to fix that.
9
Lighten the homepage photos
1 hour
Your photos are lovely; they are just very large files. Resizing them makes the page quicker on phones, where it scored 39 and 47 out of 100 for speed (the page is about 8 MB).
10
Give each treatment its own page
1 page a week
In the treatment searches we checked, the clinics that won had one page per treatment, with its price. You already have the treatments, prices and FAQs to fill them. See the design in Your website, improved.
A few more small wins
Add Beckton, East Ham and Newham to your main pages, so Google knows exactly where you are. Today none of your main pages mentions them; only Treatments says "East London".
Add your qualifications and insurance, so first-time clients feel safe. They aren't shown anywhere yet.
Make WhatsApp and email tappable on every page, so phone visitors reach you in one tap.
Point the footer Facebook icon at your own page, or remove it. Today it opens Squarespace's own Facebook page.
Where you are today

5.0 from 17 reviewsYour Google rating. A 5.0 average from 17 reviews means every one so far is five stars. Clinics in Google's local map results had 28 to about 1,500, so each new review counts.Google, 30/10/2026 and 31/10/2026
Room to grow on GoogleFor "hyperpigmentation treatment beckton", Google showed your Treatwell page second. Your own site isn't on page 1 yet for that, "facial beckton" or "skin clinic beckton", so local words on your pages are an easy win.Google, 31/10/2026
39 and 47 out of 100Homepage speed on phones, in two tests. PageSpeed's biggest suggestion is smaller photos, which would cut the page's weight by more than half, so this one is quick to improve.Google PageSpeed, 30/10/2026

Your visitor numbersSquarespace's own Analytics panel already counts visits, but we can't see it from outside, and nothing yet shows which searches and clicks lead to bookings. Free Search Console and PostHog add that, with useful patterns after about 4 to 8 weeks.Website check, 31/10/2026

Your website, improved
Your site already has the hard parts: your look, your photos, your prices and booking that works. What will bring more bookings now is mostly words. So everything here starts with the words: what each page says today, what it could say, and why that helps.
Twelve small word swaps
Each one takes a minute or two. Page titles and descriptions live in each page's settings, under SEO; everything else is click and type. Today's words are from your live site, checked 31/10/2026 and again 01/11/2026.

Questions
Is a herbal peel safe for darker skin?
No peel is free of risk on any skin. What lowers the risk is the right treatment for your skin, good preparation and strict sun protection afterwards. That is why we assess every client first and offer a patch test.
When will I see a difference?
Many clients notice changes in glow, hydration and texture within the first few weeks. Hyperpigmentation and melasma take longer, often 6 to 12 months of consistent treatment, home care and daily SPF.
Where are you, and is there parking?
Inside Bhueti Salon, Unit 18, Gallions Reach Shopping Park, 3 Armada Way, London E6 7ER. There are 4 hours of free parking nearby, and you'll get directions by email when you book.
Can I bring someone with me?
To keep the studio calm, we ask that guests only attend if they are a parent or guardian with a minor, or supporting someone with additional needs.
We are a skin studio, not a medical provider. If a mark is new, changing or worrying, please see your GP.

Sanyu, founder of NYU Skin Studio
Meet Sanyu
Pronounced San-Yoo. Founder and your skin facialist.
My skin journey started with hyperpigmentation caused by PCOS, and a bathroom shelf full of DIY masks, turmeric mishaps and every "natural remedy" you could think of.
My sister introduced me to Korean skincare just before lockdown, and I never looked back. Travelling, I also saw how botanicals, eating habits, climate and daily routines all play a part in skin health.
So I created NYU Skin Studio: Korean science, natural botanicals and real routines, with a particular focus on melanin-rich skin that's too often overlooked. I still have my ups and downs, but with regular treatments and home care, I really don't need to wear foundation anymore.
If it's inclusive to melanin, it's inclusive to all.
"Sanyu was absolutely wonderful! I was admittedly having a bad day before my appointment but as soon as I walked into her studio, she instantly made me feel relaxed and safe."

Why it grows your email list
A free guide gives people a clear reason to sign up. Because this one is written for melanin-rich skin, the people it draws in are the people your studio is for. Once they join, your offers and news reach them by email.
“We typically use this email trigger to send lead magnets to people who request them.”MailerLite, on its “Completes a form” automation, 02/06/2026
A lead magnet is simply a free gift like your guide, so it can arrive the moment someone signs up. MailerLite’s Free plan includes sign-up forms and automations (emails that send themselves) for up to 250 subscribers and 2,500 emails a month (checked 01/11/2026).
Five places it works for you
One set of slides, five ways to reach people. Nothing here costs money.
Website sign-up giftThe reward on your homepage form: “Get the free guide: Skin dos and don’ts”.
Instagram carouselPost the cover and three or four slides as a teaser, then “Get the full guide, link in bio”. Pin it to your grid.
Link in bioSwap the old Beacons download for the new sign-up form, so every download joins your own email list.
WhatsApp to new clientsSend the PDF after a first booking, as a thank you before they arrive.
Welcome emailWelcome 1 links to the PDF straight away, with the subject “Your free guide: Skin dos and don’ts”.
How to send it
In MailerLite (Free plan), upload the PDF in the File manager. MailerLite can’t attach files, so your email links to it with “Insert File”.
Create the sign-up form. Heading: Get the free guide: Skin dos and don’ts. Line: Nine dos, seven don’ts, checked against NHS and dermatologist advice. Plus skin tips and studio news about twice a month. Unsubscribe any time. Button: Send me the guide.
Set an automation: trigger “Completes a form”, then send Welcome 1 straight away with the PDF link.
Put the form on your website, swap the Beacons link in bio for the form, and pin the carousel.
In Welcome 1, use the subject “Your free guide: Skin dos and don’ts” and change “Ten ways to achieve radiant skin at home” to “Skin dos and don’ts” in the text and button.
Backup option: upload the PDF to Squarespace instead (link editor, File, upload; 20 MB limit). If you update the guide later, upload it as a new file and change your links. Deleting the old file doesn’t take it offline: Squarespace says its old link keeps working.
What a blog is, and what it can do for you
You already answer skin questions beautifully, every day, in your DMs and in the treatment chair. A blog simply writes your best answers down once, on your own website, where Google, AI tools and new clients can find them at any hour.
In plain terms, a blog is a set of articles on your own site. Each one answers one question your clients ask, in your voice, with the facts checked. On Squarespace you add one blog page, once; after that, each article is pasted in, given a photo and published. Blogs aren't on Squarespace's list of paid-extra "premium features", so every plan includes them (Squarespace help, checked 01/11/2026). Your plan calls yours the Skin Journal.

Found on Google when people ask
People search questions long before they book. When we checked on 31/10/2026, small clinics' and studios' own articles often won question searches like these. For "herbal peel vs chemical peel dark skin", all five top results were blog posts.

Trust, before they've even met you
A careful answer lets people meet your knowledge and your voice first. Google asks site owners whether their content is "written or reviewed by an expert or enthusiast who demonstrably knows the topic well", and says it gives "even more weight" to trustworthy content on health topics. Your first-hand experience is exactly that.

Answers AI tools can quote
For "is it safe" and "how" questions, Google's AI summaries (the AI Overviews written above the results) mostly quoted US dermatology sites, YouTube, Healthline and WebMD when we checked. A UK article for melanin-rich skin that cites the NHS and dermatologists could fill a real gap. Google says "There are no additional requirements to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode".

You already have what most blogs are missing
A specialist niche, a real founder story, and first-hand experience of exactly these questions on melanin-rich skin. Google and readers both look for first-hand experience. You have it in abundance; the Skin Journal just puts it where people can find it.
How much traffic could it bring?
Here is the honest picture. We haven't seen any visitor numbers for your website, and from outside your accounts we can't tell whether Google Search Console (Google's free tool that shows the searches you appear for) is connected. So there is no forecast from your own data, and anyone quoting a firm number today would be guessing. What we can share is what published studies found, a calculator to try your own what-ifs, and how you will see real numbers soon.
What the research says
Every quote below is word for word from the source named, fetched on 01/11/2026.
“Some changes might take effect in a few hours, others could take several months. In general, you likely want to wait a few weeks to assess whether your work had beneficial effects in Google Search results.”
For you: Google may take a little while just to notice a new article. Search Console lets you ask it to look, and Instagram and email can send readers on day one.
“6.11% of them made it to the top 10 within 1 year.”
“40.82% of pages that ranked in the top 10 did so within 1 month.”
For you: most new pages, on any website, don't reach Google's first page within a year. That's why your plan aims at narrow, specific questions. Of 28 question searches we checked for your topics on 31/10/2026, 13 had small clinics and independent pages filling most of the top five.
“96.55% of all pages in our index get zero traffic from Google”
Ahrefs, search traffic study of about 14 billion pages, 01/12/2023. For pages Google has found, it gives three reasons: no search demand, no backlinks (links from other websites), and not matching what the searcher wants.
For you: your plan is built around all three. Almost every topic is a question people really type, written as the kind of page that wins it, with a reason for other sites to link.
“Ranking #1 is worth 84% less on a page with an AI answer than on one without: 3.6% versus 22.6%.”
First Page Sage, Google click-through rates by ranking position in 2026, 22/09/2026. A US marketing agency's study of Google data from its client and panel websites, March to August 2026, weighted to US searches. Ahrefs found the same direction: "the presence of an AI Overview now correlates with a 58% lower average clickthrough rate for the top-ranking page" (04/02/2026). An older Backlinko study put the top result at 27.6% (updated 16/04/2025).
For you: studies disagree, and AI summaries now take many clicks on question searches. The bright side: being the source an AI answer quotes is a way in too. First Page Sage found the first source cited in an AI answer was clicked 5.2% of the time.
“72.9% of pages in Google’s top 10 are more than 3 years old”
Ahrefs (Patrick Stox), same study, 15/05/2025. It also found "The average #1 ranking page is 5 years old".
For you: good articles keep working for years. Every one you publish is an asset that grows quietly while you look after clients.
What if? Try an example sum
Change any number and the sum updates. The click rates come straight from First Page Sage's 2026 table. Everything marked "example" is a made-up starting point for you to change.
12 is your plan, November to April.
Example only. No free tool gives trusted UK numbers for questions this specific (research, 31/10/2026). Search Console will show your real number, called impressions.
Example only. Not every article will reach page one.
Only you can judge this, so it starts empty. Leave it blank if you're not sure.

If the numbers look small, that is normal for a new website, and it isn't the whole story. These are people reading about exactly what you specialise in, before they choose where to go. And every article also works on Instagram, in your emails and in your DMs from the day it goes live.
What to expect, and when
The first few weeks
Google needs time to find a new page: "Crawling can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks."
What to do: share each article on Instagram, in your email and in DMs the day it goes live. Those readers arrive straight away.
Months 1 to 6
Of pages that reached Google's top 10 in the Ahrefs study, 40.82% got there within a month. Search Console starts showing which questions each article appears for.
What to do: at about six months, refresh any article not yet on page one. Ahrefs: "After ~6 months, you may want to look at updating your content if you're still not in the top 10."
Month 6 and beyond
Google says some changes "could take several months", and most top results are older pages: 72.9% are more than 3 years old.
What to do: keep going, two articles a month. Each one adds to the last, and the oldest keep working.
How you'll see your real numbers, free
Connect Google Search Console, if it isn't already: in Squarespace open Analytics, then Search keywords, then Connect. It shows impressions (how often Google showed each article) and clicks.
Add Bing Webmaster Tools (Bing's free version of Search Console) by importing your site from Search Console. Its AI Performance report, a preview Bing launched on 10/02/2026, shows when Microsoft Copilot cites your pages.
Look at Squarespace Analytics, already built into your site, for visits to each article.
Add "How did you hear about us?" to your Acuity booking form.
Once a month, note each article's impressions, clicks and visits. After a few months, put your real impressions into the calculator: then the sum is built on your own numbers.
Small, steady and local is how small studios win: two good answers a month, each one pointing to a treatment you're proud of.
Your blog plan: twelve articles, November to April
Two articles a month, on Tuesdays, from 10/11/2026 to 20/04/2027. The first three are already written and sourced. Each one answers a question people really ask, and leads readers on to a treatment, your shop or your booking page. When your new treatment pages go live, each article links to them too.

Why dark marks after spots last longer on melanin-rich skin
SBy Sanyu, founder of NYU Skin Studio01/12/2026 in Pigmentation and Marksqualifications: You to confirm
The spot went in a week. The mark it left is still there months later. You are in good company: the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) says dark spots and patches are among the most common reasons people with darker skin tones see a dermatologist.
What the mark actually is
That mark is usually post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, or PIH: extra pigment left behind after skin has been inflamed. The British Association of Dermatologists (BAD) says PIH is more common in darker skin types and that the darkening is usually temporary.
The AAD explains what sets it off. When something irritates or injures medium to dark skin, the skin makes extra melanin, the pigment that gives skin its colour. A pimple clearing is one trigger. So are cuts, burns, insect bites, some medicines, hormonal changes such as pregnancy, and skin or hair products that irritate.
The NHS lists "changes to your skin colour and texture, or scars where you've had spots" as a symptom of acne itself. It also notes that raised spots may look brown or purple on brown and black skin, where they would look pink or red on white skin.
Why it lasts longer on darker skin
It is stronger. A review of PIH in skin of colour found it tends to affect darker-skinned people more often and more severely.
It can sit deeper. The AAD says a mark a few shades darker than your natural colour usually fades within 6 to 12 months once the cause stops. Colour lying deeper in the skin, often slate blue to grey, can take years.
Then there is the loop many people get stuck in. New spots make new marks while the old ones are still fading. The AAD's acne advice for skin of colour says the dark spots "can last much longer than the acne", and that treating acne early lowers the risk of dark patches and of keloids, a type of raised scar. Sunlight is the other half of the loop: the AAD calls sunscreen the start of effective treatment, because it can stop new dark spots forming and help clear existing ones.
Mark or scar?
A dark mark changes the colour of your skin. A scar changes its surface. The NHS gives shallow holes in the skin (ice-pick or boxcar scars) as an example of acne scars, and the BAD adds raised, lumpy scars, including keloids, and lighter patches as well as darker ones. Marks and scars need different help.
What helps marks fade
Calm the cause first. The AAD is clear that with acne, eczema or psoriasis, the condition has to be under control before the marks can clear. Most then fade on their own, though it may take a long time.
Hands off. The NHS says picking or squeezing spots can cause scars.
Wear SPF every day, all year. The AAD recommends a tinted sunscreen with iron oxide, SPF 30 or higher and broad-spectrum protection, because iron oxide helps protect against visible light, one cause of dark spots. The NHS recommends at least SPF 30 and at least 4-star UVA protection. The sunscreens we sell are on our SPF shelf. You to confirm which of them contain iron oxide
Be gentle. If a product burns or stings, the AAD says stop using it. Watch the heavy creams too: the AAD says there is "absolutely no scientific evidence" that cocoa butter evens out skin tone, but it can cause acne.
Use ingredients with evidence behind them. The AAD lists azelaic acid, glycolic acid, kojic acid, retinol and vitamin C as ingredients that can fade dark spots. Stronger retinoids such as tretinoin and adapalene are prescription treatments in the UK (NHS acne page), and the BAD says hydroquinone "can only be prescribed by doctors".
Avoid mystery creams. The AAD says researchers have found steroids or mercury, not listed on the label, in some imported skin care products. Never put bleach on your skin. Our terms say we cannot go ahead with treatment if you bleach your skin.
Where treatments like ours fit
The same review of PIH says procedures such as chemical peels may help marks that will not shift, and warns that any treatment needs care to avoid irritation that could make PIH worse. That is how we see it too: treatment does most once the cause has calmed down and SPF is a daily habit. Our NYU Correct programme focuses on pigmentation and uneven tone, and our NYU Clear programme on breakouts and congestion (Treatments page). Be patient: pigmentation often needs 6 to 12 months of consistent treatment, home care and daily SPF, as our Treatments page says. If you are weighing up a peel, our guide to herbal and chemical peels on darker skin covers the risks.
When to see a GP or dermatologist
Your acne is not getting better with pharmacy products, you have lots of spots, or they are deep, painful or scarring (NHS acne page).
You see signs of infection, such as hot, swollen skin. The NHS notes that redness can be harder to see on brown and black skin.
Acne is affecting your mental health.
A mark or patch changes in size, shape or colour, or a new lump appears (NHS sun safety page).
Your marks are not fading with the steps above. The AAD says some need prescription-strength treatment.
Your questions
How long do dark marks after spots take to fade?
The AAD says a mark a few shades darker than your skin usually fades within 6 to 12 months once the cause has stopped. Deeper colour can take years.
Does the NHS treat dark marks after acne?
A GP can treat the acne behind them, and can prescribe creams such as tretinoin and adapalene or refer you to a dermatologist (NHS acne page). The BAD says chemical peels, microneedling and similar treatments for acne scars "are not routinely available on the NHS".
Can I have a peel while I still have breakouts?

Make the form. Forms page, Embedded forms tab, Create form, then pick your Newsletter group (create one with that name first if you haven't yet). Turn on double opt-in if it's offered: it keeps a record that each person asked to join.
Paste your two numbers. On the form's Overview, scroll to "Embed form to your website" and click the HTML tab. Find the word action: the address after it holds your account number, then your form number. Paste them into the top of this form's code, then paste the code into a Squarespace Code block. Code blocks only run forms like this on the Core, Plus and Advanced plans; on another plan, make a sign-up landing page in MailerLite (the Free plan includes one) and link a button to it instead.
Upload your guide. Put the Skin dos and don'ts PDF in MailerLite's File manager. MailerLite can't attach files, so your welcome email links to it.
Set the welcome email. An automation that starts when someone "Completes a form" and sends Welcome 1 straight away, with the guide link.
Test it. Log out of Squarespace, sign up with your own email, then check you appear under Subscribers in MailerLite and the guide arrives. The form only says thank you once MailerLite accepts the sign-up. If it shows an error or you don't appear, paste MailerLite's own code from the same HTML tab instead: it does the same job in MailerLite's design.

How it grows your email list
When someone taps “Email me my result and the free guide”, they join your list in one of three groups, picked only by their goal. Each group gets two short, kind emails written for it, then your monthly newsletter.
They pick a goal and ask for their resultWith a clear consent line under the button, and nothing pre-ticked.
MailerLite adds them to one groupEven tone, clear and calm, or glow and firmness.
Two emails, then your newsletterThe result and guide straight away, a helpful tip 3 days later.
Quiz: even toneDark marks and uneven tone, or marks and texture after spots
Quiz: clear and calmBreakouts, or calmer, less reactive skin
Quiz: glow and firmnessMore glow, or fine lines and firmness
The groups only say which treatments someone would like to hear about. The quiz never sends an answer about health, so no list ever shows who is pregnant, on medicine or has a skin condition. That’s why every email below starts gently and points to a consultation first: it suits everyone in the group.
The emails, in your voice

Hi (FIRST NAME),
Thank you for taking my skin quiz. You told me you’d like help with dark marks, uneven tone or the marks spots leave behind. That one is close to my heart: I came to this work through my own hyperpigmentation.
On my menu, the treatments made for this are NYU Correct (60 minutes, £120), my signature herbal peel (60 minutes, £180) and NYU Renew (70 minutes, £150). Your result is a starting point, not a diagnosis. I’ll confirm what suits your skin at your consultation.

Subject options: Why dark marks hang around on melanin-rich skin / The patient part of even-looking skin / One habit that protects every treatment
Preview text: SPF, hands off, and why patience pays.
Hi (FIRST NAME),
A question I hear a lot: “Why does one spot leave a mark for months?”
On melanin-rich skin, irritation often shows up as colour. The American Academy of Dermatology says a mark a few shades darker than your skin usually fades within 6 to 12 months, and deeper colour can take years.
Two habits make a real difference. SPF 30 or higher with a 4 or 5 star UVA rating, every day: a tinted one with iron oxides also helps block the visible light that can deepen dark patches. And hands off: picking makes marks more likely, and slower to fade.
When you’re ready, a consultation is the best place to start. I’ll look at your skin, talk through what you’ve tried, and plan what suits you. Results vary from person to person.

Hi (FIRST NAME),
Thank you for taking my skin quiz. You told me you’d like help with breakouts, or with skin that’s easily upset. Here, gentle wins every time.
On my menu, NYU Clear (90 minutes, £120) is made for breakouts and congestion, and I tailor it to your skin on the day. If your skin is easily upset, the kindest start is a consultation (45 minutes, £45), so I can get to know it first. Your result is a starting point, not a diagnosis.

Subject options: Three gentle habits for calmer-looking skin / Before you try that new product / Hands off: the kindest skin habit
Preview text: Patch testing, one product at a time, and hands off.
Hi (FIRST NAME),
Three gentle habits I share with almost everyone.
Patch test anything new on your inner arm, twice a day for 7 to 10 days, before it goes on your face. That’s the American Academy of Dermatology’s method. Bring in strong products, such as exfoliating acids, one at a time and slowly, so you can tell what your skin likes. And hands off spots: the NHS says picking or squeezing can cause scars.
If your spots are deep, painful or causing scars, or treating them yourself isn’t helping, the NHS suggests seeing a GP first.
When you’re ready, book a consultation and we’ll make a plan together. Results vary from person to person.

Hi (FIRST NAME),
Thank you for taking my skin quiz. You told me you’d like more glow, or smoother, firmer-looking skin.
On my menu, NYU Glow Renewal (60 minutes, £150) is my V-Grape renewal treatment for a brighter, fresher look, with minimal downtime. NYU Lift (90 minutes, £150) uses Korean skin technology to help skin look smoother and more hydrated. And the NYU Skin MOT (60 minutes, £65) is a personalised facial, lovely if you’re new to the studio. Hi (FIRST NAME),
Two small habits help skin look its best.
Moisturise while your skin is still damp, with a fragrance-free cream. Creams hold moisture better than thin lotions, and dry skin can look grey or ashy on darker tones. Then SPF 30 or higher every morning.

Set it up in MailerLite (about 30 minutes)
In Subscribers, then Groups, make four groups: Skin quiz, Quiz: even tone, Quiz: clear and calm, Quiz: glow and firmness.
In Forms, make an embedded form called Skin quiz. When it asks which group to add people to, choose Skin quiz. Add a name field, and add the three Quiz groups as interest groups (leave Hidden group unticked).
Open the form’s Overview, then “Embed form to your website”, then the HTML tab. Copy the two numbers after the word action, and the number next to each group’s tick box, into the settings on the first line of the quiz code. The note at the top of the code shows exactly where each one goes.
In Automations, make one for each Quiz group. Trigger: “When a subscriber joins a group”, then pick the group. Steps: email 1, wait 3 days, email 2.
Log out of Squarespace, take the quiz and send the result to your own email. Check you appear in the right group and email 1 arrives.
On the free plan: MailerLite Free runs 3 automations at a time, and your welcome series is one of them. So switch on two Quiz groups first. Even tone is your specialism, so it’s a lovely one to start with. Until there’s room for the third, put your Newsletter group’s number in that group’s setting (and add Newsletter to the form as an interest group), so those sign-ups get your welcome series and the guide instead. The Comfort plan runs 50 automations.
MailerLite pricing, read 01/11/2026: Free has “Active automations” 3, “Automation steps” 5, “Active forms” “Limited to 3” and “Interest groups (tags)” “Unlimited”; Comfort has 50 active automations and starts at $12 a month. MailerLite Help, read 01/11/2026: embedded forms let you “select the group(s) into which subscribers of this form will be added” (edited 16/02/2024); interest groups: “Subscribers can self-select the correct group by checking a box” (edited 10/07/2026); freebies: “set your workflow trigger to When a subscriber joins a group” (edited 13/07/2026). Not tested with a real MailerLite account: the test in step 5 is how you’ll know it works.
Sharing it on social
Four free ways to send people to the quiz, each checked on the platform’s own help page on 01/11/2026.
A story with a quiz sticker
Frame 1: a quiz sticker, “How long does a dark mark a few shades darker than your skin usually take to fade?” Answers: Overnight, About a week, About a month, 6 to 12 months (the right one). Frame 2: “The American Academy of Dermatology says 6 to 12 months. Patience and daily SPF help. Not sure where to start? My 1-minute quiz picks a starting point from my menu.” Add a link sticker to your quiz page.
About Instagram, How to use Instagram Stories (2026 guide, read 01/11/2026): the quiz sticker “lets you add four answer choices with one correct answer”. About Instagram, 27/10/2021: link stickers are open to “all accounts”, except new accounts and accounts that break the rules. The 6 to 12 months figure is the AAD’s, from page 5 of your free guide (checked 31/10/2026).
A reel: “Not sure which treatment? Take my 1-minute quiz”
Film your phone tapping through the quiz in the studio, landing on a result. End on you: “Link in bio. I’ll confirm everything at your consultation.” Caption: “Not sure which treatment? Take my 1-minute quiz 🌿 Seven taps, and you get a starting point from my menu, with prices. It never diagnoses: I’ll confirm what suits your skin at your consultation. Link in bio. #NYUSkinStudio #MelaninRichSkin #Beckton #EastLondon”
Hook rule from your AI pack, file 04: Meta’s ad rules don’t allow posts that imply someone’s health, so keep hooks about choosing a treatment (“Not sure which treatment?”), never about their skin (“Struggling with dark spots?”). Writing organic posts the same way means any of them can be boosted later.
A pinned post
You already pin three posts. Swap the oldest for a quiz post, so every new visitor to your profile sees it first: open the post, tap the options menu at the top right, and pin it.
Instagram Help, read 01/11/2026: “You can pin up to three of your Instagram posts to the top of your profile grid.” Your three pinned posts were seen on 30/10/2026 (website research, section 01).
A Google Business Profile update
Add an update with a treatment room photo: “Not sure where to start? My free 1-minute skin quiz suggests a treatment from my menu.” Add a button that links to your quiz page.
Google Business Profile Help, read 01/11/2026: updates “Share info about your business”; the button “should direct customers to a website where they can complete the action”; posts “older than six months are archived unless a date range is set”.
The quiz is for adults, so share it where your audience is adults, and keep peel and microneedling posts away from teens. UK advertising rule CAP 12.25 says ads for cosmetic treatments “must not be directed at those aged below 18 years through the selection of media or context in which they appear”. Under-18s are very welcome at a consultation with a parent or guardian, as your booking form says.
CAP Code rule 12.25, from your AI pack, file 04 (checked 30/10/2026 to 01/11/2026). Your Acuity intake form, read 01/11/2026: “Individuals aged 16 and above may attend unaccompanied after their first treatment, provided a parent or guardian accompanied them for their initial consultation/first treatment.”
What you’ll learn from it
Counts only, and they’re genuinely useful. After a month or two you’ll know what people most want help with, in their own choices.
Which goals come up most. Your three Quiz groups in MailerLite show how many people chose each one. If even tone leads, plan more posts and Skin Journal articles on dark marks. If glow leads, show more of Glow Renewal.
Which bookings came from the quiz. Put your Acuity “Source” question number in the quiz settings, and every booking button adds the code QUIZ. Acuity’s reports then count them for you.
Which messages came from the quiz. Quiz WhatsApp messages all start “Hi Sanyu, I’ve just done your skin quiz”, so they’re easy to spot and count. A label in WhatsApp Business keeps them together.
Never health details. The quiz doesn’t send or keep anyone’s answers about health, and nothing like that should go into a list, a spreadsheet or an AI chat. Counts are all you need.
Acuity Help, Tracking appointment referral sources (checked 30/10/2026, your email plan, section 04): add &field:ID=CODE to booking links, “field” in lower case, and read results under Reports. WhatsApp Business labels to sort chats: whatsappbusiness.com, read 01/11/2026 (Social tab).
How the quiz chooses a result
Your goal sets the starting pair, best match first:
Dark marks and uneven tone: NYU Correct, then Herbal Peel Face.
Marks or texture after spots: NYU Renew, then Renew Microneedling.
Breakouts: NYU Clear, then NYU Skin MOT. Never a peel or needling, as your booking form lists active acne as a reason to wait.
Calmer, less reactive skin: a consultation, then NYU Skin MOT.
More glow: NYU Glow Renewal, then NYU Skin MOT.
Fine lines and firmness: NYU Lift, then NYU Glow Renewal.
Then the other answers fine-tune it:
Happy with visible peeling moves the herbal peel up. Rather avoid it takes the peel out.
A course swaps in the Renew Microneedling course of 3 where it fits.
An event in the next 2 weeks always takes the face peel out, and asks them to share the date.
Back, chest or arms brings in Herbal Peel Body for dark marks and marks after spots, and a consultation first for anything else.
Skin that “reacts easily” or a calmer-skin goal puts the consultation first, with your patch test offered.
Anything ticked on the last step (pregnant or breastfeeding, acne medicine such as isotretinoin, a cold sore, a skin condition, a new or changing mark) goes straight to a consultation, with no treatment booking buttons. A new or changing mark also gets a gentle “see your GP first”.
Tested on 01/11/2026: all 62,208 possible answer combinations end in a real treatment or a consultation, every booking button matches your booking page, and none of them sends a health answer anywhere. The full map sits in plain words at the top of the code. To change a match, paste the code into your AI helper and tell it what you’d like.
Your Acuity intake form, read 01/11/2026: “Contraindications include active acne, skin infections, open wounds, uncontrolled rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, pregnancy (for microneedling), or use of strong retinoids or isotretinoin.” and “If you’re unsure about sensitivities, we recommend a patch test at least 24 hours before your appointment.” American Academy of Dermatology, Chemical peels: Preparation (checked 31/10/2026): tell your practitioner if you take or have taken isotretinoin, and if you get cold sores. NHS, Acne (reviewed 22/09/2026): see a GP if “the spots are deep, painful or causing scars”.
A skin calendar for your clients
Sanyu, this one is a gift for your clients and a gift for your marketing. It shows what London’s year usually does to skin, from the first strong sun in March to cold, heated rooms in December, with gentle tips for this week and a kind nudge to the right treatment. And it gives you something warm and useful to say every single month, all from trusted sources. 🌿
A year view your clients can tap through on their phones.
A private cycle helper that never leaves their phone.
Twelve months of emails and posts, ready to plan.
Your skin calendar
London’s year changes how skin feels: brighter sun from March, pollen through spring and summer, cold air and central heating in winter. Here’s what each month usually brings, with gentle tips for this week.
This week in London
These are typical patterns, not a forecast. For this week’s real weather, check the free Met Office London forecast (with the UV index) and its pollen forecast.
Your skin’s year
Typical seasons for London. Tap a month to see what it usually brings.
The whole year as a list
Your cycle and your skin
Optional, and private to you. For anyone who has periods.
Hormones shift around periods, and for some people that shows up as spots. The NHS lists spotty skin among the common signs of PMS, which can come in the weeks before a period. Add two answers and this shades the days your skin may be more likely to break out. It’s an estimate only: everyone is different. It’s not for contraception or planning a pregnancy.
Private by design. Your answers stay on this phone. Nothing is sent anywhere: not by email, not by WhatsApp, not over the internet. Close the page and they’re gone, unless you tick “Remember on this phone”.
Count from the first day of one period to the first day of the next. The NHS says cycles usually come around every 28 days, and can range from 21 to 35.
Saves your two answers in this browser only, so they’re here next time. Untick it, or press “Forget my dates”, to delete them.
Please see a GP if your periods become more painful, heavier or irregular, if period pain stops you doing your usual things, or if spots are deep, painful or causing scars. Anything new or worrying is always worth a chat with your GP.
If you’re pregnant
Pregnancy hormones can bring darker skin or brown patches on the face, sometimes called the “mask of pregnancy”. The NHS says pregnancy skin changes gradually fade after the baby is born, and suggests a high-factor sunscreen and not staying in the sun for long.
The American Academy of Dermatology says to wait until after your baby is born to treat these patches, and that they may improve, or sometimes go away, after birth. Tell Sanyu you’re pregnant before any treatment, and mention anything that worries you to your midwife or GP.
This calculator is made for regular cycles, so it won’t be useful during pregnancy.
General information, not medical advice. The seasons are typical patterns, and real weather varies from year to year. For anything new, changing or worrying, please see your GP. Sanyu can tailor all of this at a consultation.
Where this comes from
NHS, Sunscreen and sun safety (reviewed 24/03/2026): UK sun is strongest “between 11am and 3pm from March to October”; SPF “of at least 30”, “at least 4-star UVA protection”; reapply “every 2 hours”; at a UV index of 3 or higher, “consider protecting your skin”.
Met Office Weather DataHub, Definition of codes: “The solar index does not exceed 8 in the UK (8 is rare; 7 may occur on exceptional days, mostly in the two weeks around the summer solstice).”
Met Office, UV levels: in March and April, low-ozone spells mean “the UV index could be higher than currently indicated in our forecasts”.
Met Office, When is hay fever season in the UK?: tree pollen “typically from late March to mid-May”; grass pollen “from mid-May until July”, peaking in the first two weeks of June, “the second, lower peak occurring in the first two weeks of July”; weed pollen “typically covers the end of June to September”. Timing “very much depends on the weather”.
NHS, Hay fever (reviewed 21/03/2024): “itchy, red or watery eyes”; “shower and change your clothes after you have been outside”; “wear wraparound sunglasses”; speak to a pharmacist.
NHS, Acne (reviewed 22/09/2026): hormone changes “during puberty, periods, menopause and pregnancy”; “do not pick or squeeze spots because this can cause scars”; “do not scrub your skin”; see a GP if spots are “deep, painful or causing scars”.
NHS, Periods (reviewed 05/01/2023), Irregular periods (26/06/2026) and Period pain (18/03/2026): cycles “around every 28 days”, from 21 to 35; irregular if “less than 21 days or more than 35 days”; see a GP if periods “become more painful, heavier or irregular”.
NYU Skin Studio’s own aftercare page: SPF daily, even on cloudy days, and at least 7 days without saunas, sunbeds or direct sun after a peel. GOV.UK: the clocks change on the last Sunday in March and October.
All checked on 01/11/2026 unless a date says otherwise. Treatment prices from the Acuity booking page, checked 01/11/2026.

What’s a typical pattern, and what’s the forecast
The calendar is honest about the difference, and your posts can be too.
Typical patterns, from the calendar
The months, the pollen seasons, the strongest-sun window and the average temperatures. They come from the NHS and the Met Office’s long-term averages, so they’re much the same every year, and you can plan emails and posts weeks ahead.
The forecast, from the Met Office
This week’s real UV index, pollen level and first frost. Check the free forecast before a “skin weather” story or a first-sunny-week reel, and say “today” or “this week” only when it’s true.
The free Open-Meteo weather service is only for non-commercial use, and it counts promotional activities as commercial, so a studio website would need a paid plan. open-meteo.com/en/terms, checked 01/11/2026: You may only use the free API services for non-commercial purposes.
The Met Office’s own data service does allow business use, Subject to the terms of the licence, but it needs a sign-up and a private key sent with every request, which can’t be kept private inside a public web page. Its help page doesn’t mention pollen. datahub.metoffice.gov.uk/support/faqs, checked 01/11/2026.
So the calendar keeps to typical patterns and links to the free Met Office pages for the real forecast. It works with no sign-up and nothing to pay. Nothing was signed up for on your behalf.
How it works for your business
Each month has its own skin story, and each story gives you an email, a post and a natural next treatment. Many of the emails are already written in your seasonal email copy. Tap a month to open it.
Typical patternForecastFixed date
November 2026Colder nights and Black Friday
Skin
Colder, with the first frosty nights: about 3 a month at Heathrow, on average. Cold, windy weather and central heating can both dry skin.
Email
Your Black Friday emails are already written. Subscribers first on Thursday 19/11/2026 (You hear first: the Black Friday peel course), everyone on Monday 23/11/2026, Black Friday on Friday 27/11/2026 at 09:00 (Black Friday, the calm version), and the last call on Monday 30/11/2026 at 10:00 (Closes tonight at 23:59: the peel course). The closing time, places and gift are your decisions.
Social
Forecast A “first cold snap” reel, the first week the Met Office forecast shows frost: three swaps for cold weather (moisturise on damp skin, cream not lotion, heating on warm not hot). Plus your Black Friday posts on the Social tab.
Leads to
The course of three face herbal peels, £270, or one face herbal peel, £99 (Black Friday). Autumn and winter make the 7 days away from direct sun easier.
December 2026The darkest month: gifts and winter hands
Skin
The darkest month (about 55 hours of sunshine) with the most frosty days (about 7). Hands are often the first place dry skin shows.
Email
Tuesday 01/12/2026 at 10:00, A gift for them, a bonus for you: e-gift cards of £50, £100 or £300 (the bonus value is yours to confirm). Your December newsletter on Tuesday 08/12/2026, with a “skin weather” box: gloves, lip balm and a richer cream.
Social
Fixed date Saturday 05/12/2026, a Small Business Saturday UK post. Typical pattern A “winter hands” tip carousel.
Leads to
E-gift cards, and NYU Lift (90 minutes, £150) for fine lines, firmness and dehydration.
January 2027Cold and dry: a gentle reset
Skin
Cold and frosty (about 7 days of air frost). Dry skin on darker tones can look whitish or greyish, and the American Academy of Dermatology suggests a moisturiser with ceramides.
Email
Tuesday 05/01/2027 at 10:00, Your skin after December: a gentle reset (already written), plus your win-back email on Monday 04/01/2027.
Social
Typical pattern A carousel, “Three moisturising rules for cold weeks, from dermatologists”: damp skin, cream or ointment, ceramides.
Leads to
The NYU Skin MOT (60 minutes, £65), or NYU Lift (£150).
February 2027Low sun, Ramadan, and a calm time to start peels
Skin
Still cold (about 6 days of air frost), and the sun stays low, so the 7 days away from direct sun after a peel are easier to keep.
Email
Tuesday 02/02/2027, Valentine’s, Galentine’s, or just a Tuesday 🤎. Thursday 04/02/2027 at 10:00, Ramadan at the studio: timings, skin care and Eid: Ramadan is expected to begin around 8 to 10 February, depending on the moon sighting. Tuesday 23/02/2027, Mothering Sunday is Sunday 07/03 🤎.
Social
Fixed date Your Ramadan opening times (yours to confirm), and a “hair and skin for Eid” collab post with Bhueti.
Leads to
The face herbal peel (60 minutes, £180), timed so skin has settled before Eid (the latest date is yours to set).
March 2027The sun gets stronger: SPF season begins
Skin
The NHS says UK sun is strongest from March to October, between 11:00 and 15:00. Tree pollen usually starts late in the month, and the clocks go forward on Sunday 28/03/2027.
Email
Tuesday 02/03/2027: keep it short, or skip it, because two emails went out in the four weeks before. Eid al-Fitr is expected around Wednesday 10/03/2027, depending on the moon sighting: an optional Eid Mubarak from NYU Skin Studio, with nothing to buy.
Social
Forecast A “first sunny week” reel, the first week the forecast shows a UV index of 3 or more: “SPF season starts: my three rules”. Fixed date A story on Sunday 28/03/2027: the clocks go forward, so lighter evenings and SPF back in the bag.
Leads to
NYU Correct (60 minutes, £120) for dark marks and uneven tone, started before summer, alongside daily SPF.
April 2027Tree pollen and brighter days
Skin
Tree pollen season (late March to mid-May). The Met Office says spring UV can sometimes be higher than its forecast shows, during low-ozone spells.
Email
Tuesday 06/04/2027 at 10:00, Your April skin notes 🌿, from your newsletter template.
Social
Typical pattern A hay fever story with the NHS tips: wraparound sunglasses, and a shower and change of clothes after time outside. Forecast Share the Met Office pollen level on high days.
Leads to
The Advanced Skin Consultation + AI Analysis (45 minutes, £45), for a new-season plan.
May 2027Grass pollen starts: patch test before summer
Skin
Grass pollen, the type most people with hay fever react to, starts from mid-May, and sunshine climbs to about 207 hours.
Email
Tuesday 04/05/2027, the day after the bank holiday. An idea: Before summer: patch test your new SPF 🌿, with the American Academy of Dermatology’s 7 to 10 day method.
Social
Typical pattern A reel, “How to patch test in three steps”: a coin-sized spot on the inner arm, twice a day, for 7 to 10 days.
Leads to
NYU Glow Renewal (60 minutes, £150). Results vary.
June 2027Peak pollen and the year’s highest UV
Skin
Grass pollen usually peaks in the first two weeks of June. The UK’s highest UV readings, up to 7 on exceptional days (8 is rare), come mostly in the two weeks around the longest day.
Email
Tuesday 01/06/2027 at 10:00, Melanin-rich skin still needs SPF. Here’s why. (already written).
Social
Typical pattern A carousel, “What the UV index numbers mean”, using the Met Office’s bands from Low to Extreme. Forecast Your weekly skin weather story, with that week’s UV.
Leads to
The ISOV UV Block Cream SPF50+ PA++++ (£44 in your shop), and peels planned around holidays.
July 2027The warmest month: plan around holidays
Skin
The warmest month on average (a high of 24 °C at Heathrow). A second, smaller grass pollen peak in early July, and weed pollen in the air.
Email
Tuesday 06/07/2027. An idea: Holiday booked? Read this before your next peel (one of your June subject lines), on the 7-day rule and planning around trips.
Social
Forecast On the sunniest forecast day, a story: “Reapply every 2 hours when you’re out in it.”
Leads to
The Virtual Skin Consultation (15 minutes, £20), to plan autumn treatments. Your research suggests not promoting peels in July and August.
August 2027Still bright: book the autumn plan
Skin
Still warm and bright (about 202 hours of sunshine), with weed pollen until September.
Email
Tuesday 03/08/2027. An idea: Your autumn skin plan starts with a chat, inviting a consultation in September.
Social
Typical pattern An “end of summer” post inviting September consultations. The summer bank holiday is Monday 30/08/2027.
Leads to
The Advanced Skin Consultation (£45) or the Virtual Skin Consultation (£20).
September 2027Peel season starts
Skin
Weed pollen winds down, and the sun is still in its strongest months until October.
Email
Tuesday 07/09/2027 at 10:00, Autumn is when I like to start peel courses (already written).
Social
Typical pattern A reel, “Why I start peel courses in autumn”: the 7 days away from direct sun are easier now.
Leads to
The face herbal peel (£180), NYU Correct (£120) or the Renew Microneedling course of 3 (£255).
October 2027Celebrating melanin-rich skin
Skin
The last month of the strongest-sun window, and cooler (an average high of 16 °C). The clocks go back on Sunday 31/10/2027.
Email
Tuesday 05/10/2027, for Black History Month UK: share knowledge, with no sale. An idea: We all have about the same number of pigment cells 🤎, the surprising fact from your free guide research.
Social
Typical pattern A carousel on that fact. Fixed date A Diwali greeting on Friday 29/10/2027. Forecast The first cold snap reel again, when the frost arrives.
Leads to
The face herbal peel before Diwali, booked early enough for skin to settle (the latest date is yours to set).
Skin lines: NHS, Met Office (Heathrow averages 1991 to 2020, UV codes, hay fever season) and American Academy of Dermatology, checked 01/11/2026. How it plugs into MailerLite
Because the seasons are typical patterns, you can write each email weeks ahead and let MailerLite send it on the day.
Schedule each seasonal email ahead. Choose to send later, then pick the date, the time and the time zone. Times go in 15-minute steps, and the email waits in your Outbox until it sends. On MailerLite Free your AI helper can draft, but you press Schedule yourself. mailerlite.com/help/how-to-create-and-schedule-a-campaign (last edited 16/06/2026) and mailerlite.com/pricing, checked 01/11/2026.
Add a “skin weather” box to your first-Tuesday newsletter. Three short lines from that month on the calendar, one tip, and a button to your Skin calendar page. It’s the monthly “skin weather” email, without an extra send.
Offer optional interest groups, chosen by your subscribers. For example “Skin tips” and “Offers and peel season dates” as tick boxes on your sign-up form. MailerLite says subscribers can self-select the correct group by checking a box. Its help page doesn’t say whether this is on the Free plan, so check your form settings. mailerlite.com/help/how-to-use-interest-groups-inside-forms (last updated 10/07/2026), checked 01/11/2026.
Link the calendar in your welcome emails. Email 2 already teaches one thing about melanin-rich skin, so a link to the calendar sits naturally there.
Never group by cycle or health
Groups are only ever what people choose to hear about. Never make a group from cycle dates, skin conditions, health, religion or ethnicity, and never guess them. Health details count as special category data under UK GDPR (Article 9). The Ramadan email goes to your whole list.
Your AI file 04 (skin claims and advertising rules) and file 07 (email rules), 01/11/2026.
Social outreach, all year
Four easy habits, all at £0, and all built on the same calendar.
A weekly “skin weather” story
Every Tuesday morning: this week’s UV and pollen from the Met Office, what the season usually means for skin, and one tip from the calendar. About ten minutes a week.
This week’s skin weather in East London 🌿

Two reels the weather writes for you
The first sunny week, when the forecast first shows a UV index of 3 or more (the NHS says consider protecting your skin from 3), and the first cold snap, when it first shows frost. Write both scripts now, then post them on the day.
Google Business Profile updates
A short weekly update with the season’s tip and a link to the calendar page, as on your Social tab. It keeps your 5.0 profile fresh for people searching nearby.
Partners such as Bhueti Salon
A collab post with Bhueti, the salon you work inside, shows on both profiles. The calendar gives you ready reasons: “hair and skin for Eid”, winter dryness for hair and skin, or summer sun. If either of you gives the other anything free for a post, start the caption with “Ad”.
Instagram collab posts and the “Ad” rule: your Social tab (About Instagram and the ASA influencers’ guide, checked 01/11/2026). Keep every post kind: no question hooks about skin worries, and nothing that suggests you know someone’s health (your AI file 04).
Let your AI helper do the writing
Copy a month from this tab into one of your ready-made prompts, and your AI drafts it in your voice, within the advertising rules.
Make my monthly marketing planPaste the month above for a full plan.
Write an email campaignFor each email idea and subject line.
Plan a month of captionsIncluding your weekly skin weather stories.
Write a reel or TikTok scriptFor the first sunny week and the first cold snap.
Write a Google Business Profile postFor the weekly update.
Check my text against the rulesBefore anything goes out.
The cycle part of the calendar never connects to MailerLite, Acuity, WhatsApp or anything else. A visitor’s answers stay in their own phone, and nothing ever reaches you. So there’s nothing for you to store or look after. Please never ask clients to send their cycle dates, and never build reminders or groups from them.
Checked in testing on 01/11/2026: the calculator makes no network requests, and it saves to the phone only when the visitor ticks “Remember on this phone”.
Every skin fact on this tab and in the calendar comes from the NHS, the Met Office, the American Academy of Dermatology, the British Association of Dermatologists or the British Skin Foundation, checked on 01/11/2026 unless a date says otherwise, with each source named in the calendar’s small print. Seasons are typical patterns, so real weather will vary. Nothing was signed up for or published on your behalf. 🤎
Google and traffic
We can't honestly forecast your visitors yet, because we can't see your numbers from outside. Squarespace's own Analytics panel counts visits, but nothing yet shows which searches and clicks lead to bookings. What we do know is encouraging: few salons nearby offer what you offer, and the changes below are the kind that help Google, Bing and AI tools show you. Set up free tracking now and you'll have real numbers to compare after about 4 to 8 weeks.
What will grow your traffic
Topics you can own
Groups of pages and articles that answer what your clients search. Each group has one main "hub" page on your site, usually a treatment page, and articles that guide readers on to it. Start with the high-priority groups.

“We all have about the same number of pigment cells.”
How to make it
Did you know? We all have about the same number of pigment cells.
So why do skin tones differ? It’s what those cells make.
That’s also why dark marks linger.
So be gentle: SPF every day, hands off spots, one new product at a time.
Want the full list? Get my free guide. Link in bio.
Big soft olive text on cream (design NYU 08, ready in Your files), then pin it.
Caption
Fun fact for your feed 🤎
Whatever your skin tone, you have roughly the same number of melanocytes, the cells that make pigment. The difference is what they make. Melanin-rich skin makes more melanin, more of the deep brown-black kind, packed into bigger parcels.
Beautiful, protective, and quick to react when it's irritated. That's why gentle wins.
I've put my full list of skin dos and don'ts into a free guide. Grab it through the link in bio ✨

Gift card orders arrive in your online store. In December, it’s a good one to boost.
Formats to try
Free features worth a go, each checked on the platform’s own page on 01/11/2026. Start with reels: they’re already your strongest format.
Three reels to film
“What actually happens during a herbal peel?”
One of your best recent TikToks (743 views on 30/10/2026). A fresh version, filmed calmly.
Walking into Bhueti at Gallions Reach.
A calm chat at the consultation.
Brushing on the peel, close up.
SPF going on at the end.
End card: “DM PEEL 🌿”.
“Three things I’d keep off melanin-rich skin.”
Straight from your guide, so every point is already checked.
A lemon on a chopping board. Slide it out of shot.
A face scrub. Slide it away.
A tube marked “lightening cream”, no brand showing. Slide it away.
You, smiling: “The full list is in my free guide. Link in bio.”
“Tell me what’s on your shelf. I’ll put it in order.”
Shows off your new routine tool, once it’s live on your website.
Your own bathroom shelf, a slow pan.
Your phone, tapping products into the tool.
The routine card appearing.
Text: “Try it on my website. Link in bio.”
For every treatment video: written permission from your client, and no filters on skin.
Trial reels
Test a reel on people who don’t follow you yet. Before you share, turn on the Trial toggle. Instagram shows it to non-followers first. If it does well, share it with everyone, or let Instagram share it for you based on views in the first 72 hours. Only you can see it’s a trial.
Try it with: “Panic versus a plan” on 19/11/2026. No toggle yet? Instagram only offers trial reels to eligible accounts, so yours may not have it yet.
Poll: people tap an answer, and you see live results and who voted. Questions: people send you questions to answer in your next story. Add Yours: anyone can add their own story to a thread you start.
Try: a poll for the pigment cell fact, a questions sticker on 28/11/2026, and an Add Yours: “Show me your skincare shelf 🌿”.
One post that shows on both profiles, shared with both sets of followers. Before you share, tap Tag people, then Invite collaborators. You can add up to 5.
Try: a “hair and skin” idea with Bhueti, the salon you work inside, for Eid or weddings. If either of you gives the other anything free for a post, start the caption with “Ad”.
Invite one local creator a month for a complimentary treatment, after a consultation. She shares her honest experience, labelled “Ad” at the start, with her own code or tagged booking link so you can see who she sends.
Start with: the shortlist in your partnerships research.
Free, up to 30 days ahead. Before you share a post or reel, open More options (the three dots), turn on Schedule, and pick a date and time. Collab posts can’t be scheduled yet, so share those live.
Updates, offers and events right on your Google listing, with a photo and a button to book. You can schedule them. Posts are archived after six months unless you set dates. When we looked on 30/10/2026, your profile had a perfect 5.0 from 17 reviews, so it’s a lovely shop window to keep fresh.
Try: a short update each week, and an offer post from 23/11 to 30/11/2026.
Free to download. A catalogue to show your treatments, quick replies for questions you get every day, greeting and away messages, and labels to sort chats. Status updates go to your contacts and disappear after 24 hours.
Try: a quick reply for PEEL with your booking link, a “Black Friday” label, and a catalogue entry for each treatment.
A one-way group chat for your followers, with text, video, voice notes and polls. Instagram’s help centre says a channel needs a public account with more than 1,000 followers, and you had 473 on 30/10/2026, so this one is a lovely goal to grow into.
When you’re there: one skin note a week, and first look at new offers.
Your Black Friday designs are ready to download in Your files. To change any words, Steve can share the Canva versions with you. Canva says its free plan is “available to anyone”.
Instagram’s own video editor. Exports in 4K with no watermark, adds captions automatically and makes voices clearer. The App Store lists optional in-app purchases.
Reply to comments and DMs, even with a quick thank you.
After a lovely appointment, ask for a Google review with your review link or QR code. Reply to every review: Google’s advice is to keep replies “clear, helpful and polite”. Google’s tips
Reshare client stories only with their permission. For before-and-after photos, keep their signed, dated consent and the unedited originals.
Tag Gallions Reach Shopping Park as your location, and add #Beckton and #EastLondon, so local people find you.
Put a direct website link in your Instagram and TikTok bios. Your TikTok didn’t have one when we looked on 30/10/2026.
Notice which posts bring PEEL messages, then make more like them.
Keep it safe, the easy way
Your voice already does most of this naturally. These few swaps help keep every post within the UK advertising rules and Meta’s ad rules, especially if you ever boost one (pay to show it to more people).
Lovely to sayBest left out
“Help”, “support” and “the look of”
“Cure”, “fix”, “remove pigmentation” and “safe for all skin”
Lead with your idea: “The calm Black Friday.”
Questions about someone’s skin, like “Struggling with dark spots?”. Meta’s ad rules don’t allow ads that assert or imply something about a person’s physical health, so a boost with a hook like this is likely to be rejected.
Places, deposit and closing time in every offer post
“Was” prices, percentage-off claims, “free” and countdown clocks
“Herbal” as a lovely description
Suggesting something is safe or works just because it’s natural
Real, unfiltered results, with signed and dated consent
Filters on skin, or before-and-after photos without the unedited originals
Peel and microneedling posts are for adults. Ads for cosmetic treatments must not be aimed at under-18s (CAP Code rule 12.25), so keep them apart from teen posts.
When a creator gets a free treatment, her post starts with “Ad”, not “gifted” or “collab”.
Tools and photos never diagnose. Invite a consultation instead.
Never offer anything in return for a Google review. Google calls it fake engagement and strictly prohibits it.
Sanyu, everything made for your studio lives here, ready to save to your phone or computer. Your social designs are finished in your own cream and olive, so posting is simply pick, save and share. 🌿
Your social media designs

Every design in one go
All 27 pictures, sorted into a folder for each design.
Ready to post as they are. They use your suggested dates, with booking closing Monday 30/11/2026 at 23:59, and the full-size SPF50+ as the gift. Choosing something different? The designs were made in Canva, and Steve can share the Canva versions with you, so any word or photo is quick to change.
Your Sale plan tab says what to post each day, and your free guide’s 13 slides are on the Free guide tab.
Your reports

Every report in one go
All twelve files below in one folder.
Most of these were written first, on 30/10 and 31/10/2026. Where a detail differs, the tabs on this page are newer, so go with those.

Fill in anything highlighted yellow: those are your decisions, like places and dates.
Every footer says Gallions Reach Retail Park. Google and the centre itself say Gallions Reach Shopping Park, so it’s worth changing once in your MailerLite footer.
The step-by-step MailerLite guide is in your Seasonal email designs report, above.
Also on this page
A few more ready-made things live on their own tabs, right where you’ll use them.
Every file here was made for NYU Skin Studio between 30/10/2026 and 01/11/2026. Nothing has been posted or sent for you. 🤎
Your call: things only you know
Everything marked "you to confirm" or "you to add" on the designs comes from this list. The first three let you finish step 3 (one set of details everywhere) and your Google profile.
Your AI helper
Sanyu, the AI account you already pay for can take on a lot of your writing. Give it your studio’s files once, then copy a prompt whenever you need something. Here’s how, one easy step at a time. 🌿
Write your pages, posts and emails in your voice, with your real prices.
Shape your words so Google and AI answer tools understand and quote you.
Draft replies to reviews and messages, and plan your month.
You stay the expert: it drafts, you check, you press publish.
Which app do you use?
Every step on this tab changes to match. Not sure? Open the app: it says ChatGPT or Claude at the top.
Step 1: give your AI the studio’s files
Eight short files teach your AI who you are, how you sound and which rules to follow. Add them once and every answer starts from your real facts, not guesses.
Everything in one file
Files 00 to 07 joined together. The easiest choice if your plan lets you add only a few files.
Or add the files one by one
Make a project and add the files
A project is a folder inside your AI app. Everything in it (files and instructions) is used in every chat you start there.
Click New project in the sidebar and name it NYU Skin Studio.
Add the files. A Free account holds 5 files in a project, so on Free add just the one big file. Paid plans hold at least 20, so all eight fit.
Open the ••• menu, then Project settings, and paste the project instructions below.
Start every studio chat inside this project.
OpenAI help, Projects in ChatGPT (help.openai.com/en/articles/10169521). Read from a search summary on 01/11/2026, because the page blocks automatic reading. That summary gives Free 5 files and Go and Plus 25; an older OpenAI file page says Plus 20.
Go to claude.ai/projects, or click Projects on the left.
Click + New Project and name it NYU Skin Studio.
Click + in the knowledge panel and add the files.
Click Set project instructions, paste the instructions below, then Save instructions.
Start every studio chat inside this project.
Claude help, How can I create and manage projects (support.claude.com/en/articles/9519177), checked 01/11/2026. Projects are on every plan; Free accounts can have up to 5.
The project instructions are eight short rules: use only your real facts, British English and £, no medical claims, and never keep client health details.
If a file won’t upload
The files download as plain text (.txt), a type both apps list on their help pages, so they should upload first time.
If one is still refused, try the single "everything" file instead, or use Copy and paste the text into the chat.
ChatGPT allows up to 512MB per file. Free accounts get 3 uploads a day. help.openai.com/en/articles/8555545, search summary 01/11/2026
Claude allows up to 30MB per file in a project (your files are far smaller), and up to 20 files in a single chat. support.claude.com/en/articles/8241126, checked 01/11/2026. It lists TXT as a document type.
Also worth doing once: tell your AI about you
These instructions follow you into every chat, even outside the project. A line or two is plenty: your name, the studio, British English and £.
Open Settings, then Personalization (on a phone: Settings, then Customize ChatGPT).
Switch on Enable customization.
Type into Custom Instructions. Free allows 1,500 characters (about 250 words), which is plenty.
help.openai.com/en/articles/8096356, search summary 01/11/2026. Project instructions win over these inside a project.
Click your initials in the lower left corner.
Open Settings, then Your Claude (called Account in the older layout).
Pick a job, fill in a box or two, and copy. Each prompt already tells your AI to use your files, follow the advertising rules and write like you. Paste it into a chat inside your NYU project.
The prompts are on their way. Refresh the page in a moment.
Get more from the plan you pay for
A few things beyond chatting that save you real time.
Plug in Gmail or Google Drive
So it can find an email or a document for you, instead of you copying it in. In ChatGPT these add-ons are now called plugins.
Open Plugins and search for the app, then open its details.
Press + to install, then sign in when asked.
Start a new chat, type @ and choose the plugin.
learn.chatgpt.com/docs/plugins, checked 01/11/2026: it names the Gmail and Google Drive plugins. OpenAI’s help centre (search summary 01/11/2026) says apps moved into the Plugin directory on 09/07/2026.
Set a job that repeats
For example: every Monday, suggest three Instagram captions from my blog plan. Repeating jobs live under Scheduled. Hourly schedules and exact times need a paid plan.
Image making is on every ChatGPT plan. Lovely for backgrounds and ideas. Never use an AI image to show skin or results: the UK advertising rules in your file 04 ask for real, unedited photos.
ChatGPT Plus is $20 a month. Go and Pro plans exist too. UK accounts can be billed in pounds, but no official £ price was found, so check the price at checkout.
Claude Free is $0. Pro is $20 a month, or $17 a month if you pay for a year ($200 up front). Prices are shown in US dollars without tax. Claude uses your local currency where it can, so check the £ price at checkout.

What an MCP is, and why it matters
MCP is a standard plug that lets your AI app reach into your other apps. The people who made it describe it as a USB-C port for AI applications.
modelcontextprotocol.io, checked 01/11/2026.
Why it matters
No more copying between apps. Your AI can read your email results itself.
It can build a draft right inside MailerLite, ready for you to check.
It works with your own login, so it sees only what you can see.
Keep it safe
Use only official connectors, made by the company itself.
Keep approval prompts on, and read each one before you click allow.
Switch off connectors you no longer use.
Anthropic warns that custom connectors are not checked by Anthropic, and Malicious MCP servers may include hidden instructions. support.claude.com/en/articles/11175166, checked 01/11/2026.

Connect your AI to your website
Squarespace now has its own official connector. It helps with your shop and contacts. Pages and blog posts are still a copy and paste job, and that route works beautifully.
What the Squarespace connector can do
Find, add and update products, including gift cards.
Find, add and update contacts.
Look up orders. It can only read them.
Search for domain names. It never buys one: it gives you a checkout link.
Good to know first
No tools for pages, blog posts or page SEO settings. Only products have an SEO title and description it can change.
Changes are real: they go straight onto your live site.
It can’t take payments, refund or send orders.
Contacts mean client names and emails reach the chat. Connect it only if you want help with shop jobs.
developers.squarespace.com/mcp/overview and /mcp/tools/commerce (13 shop tools), checked 31/10/2026 and rechecked 01/11/2026. Squarespace: shop tools are Currently only available in Claude and ChatGPT, and A product or contact the assistant creates or edits is saved to your live website. New products stay hidden from shoppers until published.
How to add the Squarespace connector
Open Customize, then Connectors.
Click + Add, then Add custom connector.
Name it Squarespace and paste the address below, then click Continue.
Keep the sign-in settings Claude suggests, then click Add.
Sign in to Squarespace when asked.
Start a new chat with the connector turned on.
Free Claude accounts can add only one custom connector, so choose the one you’ll use most.
support.claude.com/en/articles/11175166 and developers.squarespace.com/mcp/connect-a-client, checked 01/11/2026. Custom connectors work on every Claude plan, Free included.
On ChatGPT this may not be offered on your plan yet. Adding your own connector (OpenAI calls it a custom MCP server) is clearly offered on Business and Enterprise. Guides written by other companies say Plus and Pro get only a read-only version, which can look things up but not change them. OpenAI’s own help page couldn’t be read to confirm, so if the option doesn’t appear, your plan doesn’t have it.
Go to chatgpt.com/plugins and press +, then Add custom MCP server.
Enter the name Squarespace and the address below.
Set up sign-in, read the warning, then select I understand and want to continue.
Select Create as a plugin, then sign in to Squarespace.
Turn it on in a new chat.
Steps from developers.openai.com/plugins/deploy/connect-chatgpt, checked 01/11/2026 (it names no plans: Account and workspace policies apply). Squarespace’s own page gives an older route: Settings, then Apps & Connectors (or Connectors), then add a custom connector.

Squarespace says: Keep that approval step turned on for tools that write to your website. An approval prompt is the box that asks “Allow?” before your AI changes anything.

Type the title (200 characters or fewer).
Paste the body into the text block the post starts with.
Click Save to keep it as a draft.

Comfort removes the logo; $12 is about £8.96 at the 30/10/2026 ECB rate, before VAT, and the page shows dollars or euros only, so check the £ price when you pay. Sender Free: 2,500 subscribers, 15,000 emails a month, Sender branding. Sender hasn’t said whether its AI connection works on Free.
Set it up
Give the studio its own email address. Squarespace’s free forwarding can send hello@nyuskinstudio.co.uk to your Gmail (it doesn’t exist yet, so set this up first). Then copy MailerLite’s domain records into Squarespace: a few lines of settings that prove your emails really come from you, so they land in inboxes, not spam. Squarespace adds a DMARC record (a line that tells inboxes how to treat fakes) for you when you set up forwarding.
Turn off training in your AI app (see Stay safe below). Do this before your list goes anywhere near it.
Connect MailerLite to your AI app. It signs in with your normal MailerLite login, so there’s no code to copy.
Log in to MailerLite and go to Integrations.
Click Use next to AI tools, MCP.
Click Connect next to ChatGPT, then + Install plugin, then Connect MailerLite.

MailerLite’s developer page (developers.mailerlite.com/mcp, checked 01/11/2026) describes a different, do-it-yourself route through ChatGPT’s developer mode, Available to Pro and Plus accounts on the web. Log in to MailerLite and go to Integrations.
Click Use next to AI tools, MCP.
Click Connect next to Claude, then Connect to Claude.
Approve the sign-in, pick your account, read the permissions and click Authorize.
Back in Claude, in a new chat open +, then Connectors, and switch MailerLite on.
mailerlite.com/help/how-to-connect-mailerlites-mcp and claude.com/connectors/mailerlite (made by MailerLite, marked Anthropic verified), checked 01/11/2026. The two companies say different things about plans. MailerLite’s help page lists Claude Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise. Claude’s help page (support.claude.com/en/articles/11176164) says directory connectors are available for all users and names no plan on the MailerLite listing. So on Claude Pro it is sure to work; on Claude Free, simply try it. If it won’t connect on Free, it can be your one custom connector instead, with the address https://mcp.mailerlite.com/mcp.
On MailerLite Free the connection is limited and can’t send. That’s a good thing: nothing goes out until you press send in MailerLite. On a paid MailerLite plan the connector can also schedule a campaign to be sent, so keep approval prompts on and read each one. mailerlite.com/pricing, checked 01/11/2026: On Free, API and MCP access is limited and doesn’t include sending. The tool list at developers.mailerlite.com/mcp includes schedule_campaign, Schedule a campaign to be sent.

Services we checked and passed on
Kit: its AI connection isn’t on the free plan. The cheapest plan with it is $33 a month.
Mailchimp: its AI app is only on the Standard and Premium plans.
EmailOctopus: no official AI connector found.
Squarespace Email Campaigns: Squarespace’s connector has no email tools.
Brevo: its pages couldn’t be read on 01/11/2026, so its plans weren’t rechecked.
From an empty account to your first scheduled email in ten small steps. Each one is short, and you can stop between any two. 🌿
Have these to hand
Your Squarespace login and your Gmail.
Your free guide, Skin dos and don’ts, as a PDF.
About two and a half hours, spread over a few days.
Two steps need a wait while things switch on: up to 48 hours for your new address, and up to 24 hours for the domain check. Start step 2 early and the rest fits around it. The times on each step are my rough guide.
Make your free MailerLite account
About 10 minutes
Choose the Free plan, sign up with nyuskinstudio@gmail.com, fill in the short “Tell us about yourself” form honestly, then confirm your email.
Why: MailerLite sometimes reviews accounts to keep spam out. Clear, honest answers help it go smoothly.
If your account goes “under review”
Automatic checks usually take a few minutes. A check by a person can take longer.
You can keep building while you wait. Sending and publishing pages pause until it’s done.
If they ask where your list came from, reply within 30 days. Your answer: people who joined on your website form, and clients who ticked yes when booking.
mailerlite.com/help/how-to-get-approved (last edited 25/11/2025) and /why-is-my-account-under-review (last edited 16/10/2026), checked 01/11/2026: Automated reviews and content checks are typically completed within a few minutes, manual account reviews can take longer, and during a review you can continue accessing your account, creating and editing content.
Give the studio its own address: hello@nyuskinstudio.co.uk
About 10 minutes, then a wait of 24 to 48 hours
Squarespace forwarding sends anything written to hello@ straight to your Gmail, at no extra cost.
Why: emails sent “from” a Gmail address fail the inbox checks. Your own address lands better and looks lovely.
Show me the clicks
In Squarespace, open your domains dashboard and click nyuskinstudio.co.uk.
Click Email, scroll to Email Forwarding and click Add rule. Enter your password if asked.
In Forward from type hello. In Forward to type nyuskinstudio@gmail.com. Click Save.
Open the verification email in Gmail and click the link.
Squarespace adds the settings it needs (including a DMARC record) to your domain for you. Replies you send will come from your Gmail, which is fine.
support.squarespace.com, Email forwarding with a Squarespace domain (last updated 12/10/2026), checked 01/11/2026: you get email forwarding at no extra cost; forwarding starts 24-48 hours after you verify your address; we’ll automatically add TXT, DMARC, and MX records.
Prove your emails really come from you
About 20 minutes, then up to 24 hours
This is called domain authentication. In plain words: MailerLite gives you three short lines of settings, and you add them to your domain in Squarespace. They tell Gmail and others that MailerLite is allowed to send for you.
Why: MailerLite lets new accounts send without it only during the 14-day trial. After that it’s needed, and it keeps you out of spam.
Show me the clicks
In MailerLite, open Account settings, then the Domains tab.
Click + Add sending domain, type hello@nyuskinstudio.co.uk and click Save, then Authenticate.
The easy way: let MailerLite connect to Squarespace. You log in to Squarespace when asked, and it adds the lines for you.
Or by hand: in Squarespace open your domain, then DNS, then DNS settings. Under Custom records, click Add record for each of the three lines MailerLite shows (one CNAME, two TXT).
Back in MailerLite, check the records. When it says Authenticated, you’re done. 🤎
The one fiddly bit. MailerLite says to delete any other SPF line (one that starts v=spf1). Squarespace says its forwarding lines can’t be removed while forwarding is on. If you see an SPF line already there, pause and ask Steve before you change anything, so your hello@ address keeps working.
mailerlite.com/help/how-to-verify-and-authenticate-your-domain (last edited 12/10/2026) and /how-to-authenticate-a-domain-with-squarespace (last edited 16/06/2026), checked 01/11/2026: new accounts can send without authenticating a domain during the 14 day trial period only; If you have another SPF record in your DNS zone (value starts with v=spf1…), make sure to delete it; It can take up to 24 hours.
Make your groups
About 10 minutes
A group is a named list inside MailerLite, so each email goes to the right people. Make these:
Newsletter
Clients
Black Friday early access
Using the skin quiz? Add its four too: Skin quiz, Quiz: even tone, Quiz: clear and calm, Quiz: glow and firmness. See the Skin quiz tab
Why: you only ever email people who agreed, and each person gets what they asked for. Groups are never about religion, ethnicity or health.

Your sign-up form and free guide
About 20 minutes

In MailerLite, go to Forms, then Embedded forms, then Create form.
Choose the Newsletter group and click Continue.
Follow the Blog tab’s steps to copy your two form numbers into the form.

Your welcome email, with the guide
About 20 minutes
An automation (an email that sends itself) says hello the moment someone joins, with the guide button.
Why: it sends the guide they asked for straight away, while joining is fresh in their mind. It’s your warmest hello.
Show me the clicks
Go to Automation and click New automation.
Pick the Simple welcome email template (it’s marked Free).
Choose the Joins group(s) trigger, then the Newsletter group.
Click the email step, type a subject line, then Design email.
To link the guide: click the button, click the link icon, choose Insert File and pick the guide.
Save the step and click Activate.

Build your first campaign
About 30 minutes the first time
A campaign is one email to one or more groups, like your monthly newsletter. The drag and drop editor lets you build it from blocks, no code at all.
Show me the clicks
Go to Campaigns, click Create, choose Regular campaign, then Start from scratch and the Drag & drop editor.
Fill in the Subject, the Sender (NYU Skin Studio, hello@nyuskinstudio.co.uk) and the Preheader, the preview line people see under the subject.
Drag blocks in from the left: Elements has titles, text and images. Double-click any text to type or paste.
To add someone’s first name, use the {x} Variable button in the text toolbar.
Click Done editing, then Select recipients, tick the group and click Continue.
Lovely news: the footer is added for you, with your postal address and an unsubscribe link that can’t be removed. That covers two of the UK rules.

Footer: you cannot remove your physical postal address, and you also cannot remove the unsubscribe link.
Send a test to yourself
About 5 minutes
Click Send a test and read it on your phone, just as a client would. Tap every link and the button.
Why: it’s the moment to catch a typo, a wrong price or a broken link, before anyone else sees it.
mailerlite.com/help/how-to-create-and-schedule-a-campaign (last edited 16/06/2026), checked 01/11/2026: Send a test is on the Send or schedule page.
Schedule it
About 2 minutes
Choose Send later, pick the date, the time and the London time zone, then click Schedule. Your newsletter’s slot is the first Tuesday of the month at 10:00.
Times go in 15-minute steps, so 10:00 or 10:15 works.
mailerlite.com/help/how-to-create-and-schedule-a-campaign (last edited 16/06/2026), checked 01/11/2026: send times must be selected in 15-minute intervals. Newsletter slot from your file 07.

How many people opened it.
Clicks
How many tapped at least one link. This one tells you most.
Unsubscribed
Who chose to leave. A few now and then is normal and healthy.
Treat these as a guide. Spam filters sometimes tap links themselves, and on a small list one person moves the numbers a lot. Compare a few months side by side, then keep doing what gets clicks. ✨

When your AI can’t connect to your email
No connection? No problem at all. Here are three ways your AI can still do the writing, easiest first.
Connect MailerLite to your AI
If it connects, your AI can build the draft right inside MailerLite for you to check. The steps are above.
Copy and paste, block by block
This always works, on any plan. Your AI writes the email in labelled pieces that match MailerLite’s blocks. You paste each piece in, then check it.
Open your NYU Skin Studio project in the ChatGPT sidebar and start a new chat there.
Go to claude.ai/projects, open NYU Skin Studio and start a new chat there.
Copy the prompt Write a campaign ready to paste into MailerLite blocks, fill in the topic, group and send date, and paste it in.
Start a campaign in MailerLite (step 7 above). Paste SUBJECT LINE into Subject and PREVIEW TEXT into Preheader.
In the editor, add one block for each label in the same order: a title block for TITLE, a text block for TEXT, an image block for IMAGE (your own photo), a button for BUTTON.
Double-click each block and paste its words. For a button, paste the words, then the link.
Swap (FIRST NAME) for the name tag using the {x} button.
Paste the finished words into the prompt Check my email before I send it, fix anything it flags, then send yourself a test.
What your AI sends backPaste-ready, one label per block
SUBJECT LINE: Your skin in winter, and one easy habit 🌿
PREVIEW TEXT: A two-minute read from Sanyu.
[BLOCK 1 · TITLE]
Winter skin, made simple
[BLOCK 2 · TEXT]
Hi (FIRST NAME),
Short, warm lines that teach one useful thing.
[BLOCK 3 · IMAGE]
Your own photo: the treatment room.
Alt text: The calm treatment room at NYU Skin Studio.
[BLOCK 4 · BUTTON]
Words: Book your Skin MOT
Link: (the booking link from your file 01)
[BLOCK 5 · TEXT]
Speak soon,
Sanyu 🤎
NYU Skin Studio
PLEASE CHECK: anything to confirm.
The words above only show the shape. Your AI fills in real ones from your files.
MailerLite’s own AI
On the Free plan, MailerLite’s AI subject line helper is there to try a limited number of times. Its writing assistant, and its AI that makes whole designed emails, are on paid plans (from Comfort). So your own AI does the writing, for £0.
mailerlite.com/help/heylite-intelligence-toolkit-overview (last edited 31/08/2026), checked 01/11/2026: AI subject line generator All plans, Free accounts have a limited amount; AI writing assistant Comfort, Power; AI-generated HTML emails Paid feature; not available on Free.
Your 10 ready email designs
Steve made you ten seasonal email designs, from the welcome email to Mothering Sunday 2027 (in your Seasonal Email Designs document). Good news: MailerLite says the Free plan comes with all three of its editors, including the one for designs like these.
mailerlite.com/pricing, checked 01/11/2026: the Free plan comes along with all 3 email editors (Drag & drop, Custom HTML, and Simple). Steps from mailerlite.com/help/how-to-use-the-custom-html-editor (last edited 16/06/2026), checked 01/11/2026.Use a design as it is
Upload the pictures from the design’s images folder in File manager.
In the design, swap each picture address for its new File manager address, and (FIRST NAME) for {$name|default('there')}. Your AI can do this swap for you if you paste in the code and the new addresses.
Go to Campaigns, Create, Regular campaign, Start from scratch, then Custom HTML editor.
Paste the code in, or choose Import HTML and upload it as a Zip file.
Send yourself a test. The unsubscribe link MailerLite requires is already in every design’s footer.
MailerLite says It’s mandatory to include a visible unsubscribe link in all campaigns, and it tidies the design’s styles for inboxes when you save.
Or rebuild one in the drag and drop editor
Handy if the code feels fiddly, or if the Custom HTML option ever shows as locked on your account (one MailerLite partner page says it needs a paid plan, while MailerLite’s pricing page says Free has it).
Open the design’s preview picture beside MailerLite.
Start a drag and drop campaign (step 7 above).
Work from top to bottom: your logo in a Navigation block, then a title, text, your photo and one button from Elements.
Paste the words from your Seasonal Email Designs document into each block.
Set the button colour to your olive and keep lots of white space. It doesn’t need to be an exact copy to look beautiful.
mailerlite.com/help/drag-and-drop-editor (last edited 16/06/2026), checked 01/11/2026. Partner page: mailerlite.com/integrations/mail-designer-365, checked 01/11/2026: you will need a MailerLite premium plan to use the custom HTML editor. The two MailerLite pages disagree, so the editor itself is the final word.
